Fantastic find, although a small property, from the minute you walked in,you could see thought had gone into the furnishing, which added comfort from the off, was clean through out. Will definitely be booking again

Enjoy a stylish experience at this perfectly-located home. A newly renovated Georgian property steeped in history less than a ten minute walk into the historical medieval town of Shrewsbury. With a beautiful scenic walk along the river, this two-bedroom/ two living room property recently restored offers a peaceful and comfortable stay. Our guests will enjoy a Hygee-style stay with cosy blankets, underfloor heating, scented pillow mists and beautiful toiletries for you to enjoy during your stay. This house is beautifully compact. What it lacks in size it makes up for in style and comfort. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated in calming farrow and ball colours, the beds offer serious comfort with Egyptian cotton sheets and breathable, temperature-regulating mattresses. The bathroom has the largest waterfall shower we could squeeze into the space for a hot invigorating shower experience which includes Molten Brown products. We have children and appreciate they like their own space (as do we on occasion) so we’ve created a really cosy safe basement room as their own personal hangout. Kitted out with board games, PlayStation, bean bag and a very comfy sofa bed/chaise! From the kitchen, there is a private area, ideal for al fresco drinks. Along the pathway opens up to the most beautiful walled garden for you to enjoy. In the summer the sunshine envelopes the garden most of the day. Why not enjoy an English cream tea listening to the birds amongst the Apple and Pear trees with the Victorian barn as a backdrop. This makes the perfect secluded hideaway for lazing in the sunshine.
The property has a very generous garden at the rear which is the original Malt House for the local pubs (theres two very close by), its a wonderful addition to the property. One day we will renovate the Malt house to its former glory and that will become another beautiful property available to rent, until then we will have to enjoy the stunning picturesque backdrop it lends itself to.
On the doorstep, you will find two exceptional pubs, and an Indian takeaway is less than a five-minute walk, next door to a very well-stocked convenience store. Walk out of the property, turn left and you'll find the river walk which is a very short distance to the West Mid Showground. The house is a short distance to the beautiful town of Shrewsbury and offers plenty of beauty and charm.
