Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Nestled in the hamlet of Itchington, near Thornbury The Milking Shed provides a perfect retreat to rest and explore the surrounding countryside of South Gloucestershire. It's perfectly situated for countryside rambles and rural cycling. Just a miles walk, along off road tracks will take you to Tytherington where you will find a community shop and highly recommended country pub The Swan. Cribbs Causeway 15mins The Wave 15mins Bristol 25mins
This property is on our family small holding. We have horses, sheep and chickens as well a dog at the family residence.
Itchington is a small rural hamlet in South Gloucestershire, though just 10 minutes drive from the M4/M5 junction at Almondsbury. The market town of thornbury is just 3 miles away where you can find restaurants, pubs, super markets, leisure centre, golf course etc etc. The allows excellent opportunity to access the countryside with public footpaths and cycle ways direct from the property. The Swan, our local pub, serves excellent food and drink is just a mile’s walk from the Milking Sheds along footpaths and paved bridleway. Many of our guests stay with us for work - the Milking Sheds are just a short drive from Aztec west, Rolls Royce / Airbus, Cribbs causeway (The Mall), Thornbury, Yate and about a 25-30 minute drive to central Bristol.
