We have been operating holiday apartments since 2013 and up until March 2016 also owned and ran a Five Star Boutique Hotel in Torquay which we had owned since 2004. We bought Muntham apartments in April 2016 have embarked upon a an ongoing programme of improvements. Our other apartments are The Hesketh Crescent Apartments and The Bedford House Apartments.

Property information

The Muntham Apartments are located in the leafy area of Wellswood a short distance from Torquay town centre and harbour. Ansty's Cove beach is a 10 minute walk away. This grand Victorian building has been sympathetically converted into holiday apartments including studios, one bedroom apartments (two of which are located on the ground floor) and a three bedroom self contained duplex Town House with its own Hot Tub which is listed separately on this site. The apartments do NOT have access to the Hot Tub it is only for guests staying in The Town House. . Once owned by a colonial service chief justice in Calcuta, Muntham means "Gentle Breeze" in Hindi The property sits in mature wonderful gardens and has off street parking for all guests.

Neighbourhood information

The Muntham Apartments are a short 4 minute walk to the prestigious area of Wellswood village with its pub, boutique shops, restaurants, delicatessen, cafes, patisserie, beauty salons and hairdressers and a short drive to local beaches and the harbour. The main bus routes to and from Torquay town centre take a journey time of 5 minutes or a 20 minute walk so guests can enjoy car free breaks. The World famous Kent's Cavern is an 8 minute walk away and other attractions such as The Princess Theatre, Babbacombe Model Village and Bygones are a short car, taxi or bus ride away. The closest beach is about twelve minutes away on foot. Slightly further on is Walls Hill a wonderful cliff top area that was once the site of an Iron Age Fort.
