«It is an unusually shaped building. Plenty of access to gardens and a great view of the sea The shower was hot and with good water pressure. The room had its own fridge which is good to have. It was very quiet, could not hear the other guests.»

We, as a family, live in Portaferry since 2007, Krzysztof joined The Portaferry Hotel in 2005 and we joined Krzysztof two years later. Since 2009 , throughout number of venues we are independently providing accommodation and catering to our Visitors, . Our new project, The Narrows Guesthouse, started in October 2018 and we opened doors to our first Guests on 24th June 2019, providing extended services for B&B, private dining, cooking presentations, charity events, themed events, etc. 2020 and part of 2021 were a bumpy road in our industry, but we openly adapted to changing circumstances and our business is opened again. We are looking forward to welcoming you and serving you soon!

Located at the shore front of Strangford Lough, The Narrows Guesthouse consists of 6 en-suite rooms, with all of them overlooking the Portaferry Marina. Our comfortable beds guarantee a good night sleep, room amenities provide convenient leisure and our food is famous for its unique flavors and delicacy. Our service and its quality is highly recommended by our Guests and we live by a continuous promise we will strive everyday to do better.

Portaferry (from Irish Port a' Pheire 'landing place of the ferry') is a small town in County Down, Northern Ireland, at the southern end of the Ards Peninsula, near the Narrows at the entrance to Strangford Lough. It is home to the Exploris aquarium and is well known for the annual Gala Week Float Parade. It hosts its own small Marina, the Portaferry Marina. The Portaferry - Strangford Ferry service operates daily at 15-minute intervals (8am to 11pm) between the villages.
