The Nook is in a historic part of Tweedmouth, Berwick-upon-Tweed, best placed for lovely walks along the river towards the beach. The old street is full of traditional properties and the Tweedmouth Parish Church. There's an ASDA around the corner for your convenience along with a variety of takeaways and local businesses.
Berwick is an hour north of Newcastle and an hour south of Edinburgh and is the most north easterly town in England at just 2 miles south of the Scottish Border. The Northumberland coastline has some wonderful beaches and popular tourist destinations, such as the original home to the Harry Potter movies - Alnwick Castle, the popular towns of Seahouses, Bamburgh and Holy Island.
