The Okeover Arms is definitely the place to stay if you want a very warm welcome from staff and management, along with company in the bar with the locals and tourists alike. Our food is always a winner with great home cooked quality food, hearty meals and big portions to match the quality. We always offer the best. We have great local ales from micro-breweries to enjoy with your food, as well as a great wine list and roaring log fire at either end of the pub. Our rooms are spacious and well decorated, with stunning views. We are not the only eye catching thing about a visit to the Okeover Arms as we have great walks along the river which runs past the pub and to Dovedale and beyond. Set in the Peak district there are lots of walking areas and places to visit. We are close to places such as Chatsworth House and Carsington Water as well as a small drive to Alton Towers Theme Park. Without forgetting the Amazing Ashbourne Town Centre, with market days held on Thursday and Saturday, cobbled streets, shops, as well as being home to the Ashbourne Royal Shrovetide Football Game which is held in the early months of each year it truly is a spectacle not to be missed.
