St Milburga Chapel is a 4 person, Grade 2 listed luxury holiday home in open countryside on the edge of the quaint village of Stoke St Milborough. Approximately 10 minutes drive from Ludlow with its highly regarded restaurants, cafes and independent shops. Detached property with Wifi, Netflix, electric car charging point and off-road parking. Open plan lounge and dining room, kitchen, bathroom, mezzanine double bedroom and 1 x twin bedroom. Cast iron stove in the lounge. We are a pet-free property.
Clare and Jonathan Fagan are the hosts - we live in North Wales with our three daughters and our company purchased the chapel in 2022. We renovated it in 2022 and it is now available as a holiday cottage again. We actually stayed in the property ourselves 14 years ago and came back to view it without realising! We have space for up to 3 cars on our driveway and there is also on road parking opposite. Nearest train station is Ludlow, 7 miles away. Travel to the cottage from the station will require a taxi. Our property manager lives very locally and is available to assist with any problems or queries. Phone number also provided for emergencies.
Whether you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful holiday or something more active and adventurous, St Milburga Chapel is the perfect destination. Surrounded by unspoilt countryside, it makes a welcome retreat after a days hiking, biking, sight seeing or shopping. It’s a fantastic base for walkers, cycling enthusiasts, short breaks seekers or longer family holidays. Within easy reach of Ludlow, Church Stretton, Clun, Bishops Castle, Ironbridge Gorge, The Long Mynd & Carding Mill Valley, the Severn Valley Railway and Hereford. There are a number of National Trust properties within a short distance and you can walk in the Clee Hills straight from the front door.
