The Old Cottage Bakery is a newly renovated ground floor apartment with private outdoor space in the beautiful coastal town of Lyme Regis. Steeped in history, The Old Cottage Bakery is the sympathetically renovated ground floor of Pitt House, a residential building, former hotel, bakery and home shop. The open and airy modern space offers comfortable accommodation for 5, plus an infant. Private access is available through the patio doors to the rear of the property or via a shared entrance hallway to the front. The cosy living space offers a sofa with chaise, rocking chair and two giant bean bags for relaxing in front of the wood burner. There is a smart TV with freeview channels and with the ability to access your favourite streaming services. (Although we are currently unable to get bbc 1 and bbc 2) The living space opens to the kitchen and dining area with newly fitted kitchen. The hand crafted dining table will seat 6, adding to the sociable feel of the open plan design. There are bi-fold doors to the outside space where you will find comfortable seating to enjoy the views of surrounding hills and coastal sounds. Bedroom 1 is a spacious room with a kingsize bed, chest of drawers, dressing table and hanging rail. Bedroom 2 is a comfortable room with a triple sleeper with under-bed storage and a dresser. There is a TV with the ability to access your streaming services or to connect external devices (none provided). Both bedrooms could accommodate a travel cot. The bathroom has a walk in rain shower and a second, hand held attachment. There is a washing machine in the utility cupboard, along with an iron, ironing board and hoover. Free parking for one vehicle is available in the adjacent NCP car park. Please note that we do not have an allocated space so we must be advised of your arrival and departure times at the beginning and end of your stay to avoid unnecessary charges being applied. The adjacent flats are residential.

Lyme Regis is a quaint seaside resort, boasting beautiful beaches and scenery, a fascinating history and a picturesque harbour There are walks through beautiful gardens, along the South West Coast Path and around the Harbour Cobb. You could try water sports, sailing, fishing or enjoy a day at the beach. Also a search for fossils is a must whilst in this part of the Jurassic Coast perhaps followed by a visit to the museum to learn about your finds. There is an abundance of places to eat, from fish and chips at the beach front to fine dining and everything inbetween. Lyme Regis is a perfect location for a family holiday by the sea, an active break, or simply a few days away to recharge in the coastal climate. There really is something for everyone.
