Perched on the hillside above the croft with lovely glen views, The Old Croft is nestled in the Strontian Glen, in the crofting hamlet of Anaheilt, just a short drive from the village of Strontian, which lies at the head of Loch Sunart. Outside, you are surrounded by the countryside sights and sounds, including horses grazing nearby. The natural garden offers great views and behind the house is a sheltered seating area perfect for a barbecue. A handy shed has been provided by the owner for storage of cycles and drying outdoor gear. Strontian sits on the stunning Ardnamurchan peninsula and is a lovely welcoming community with shops, a large licenced convenience store which stocks locally produced food items as well as coal, logs and kindling, cafés, Post Office, pub, restaurants, GP surgery, library and church. There are often cultural and community events held at the Sunart Centre.
