The Old Rectory dates back to 1832 and we have been welcoming guests from around the world to our home since 2009. We are located in the peaceful village of Clocaenog. The property is detatched and sits in it's own gardens which guests are welcome to enjoy. All guests will receive a warm welcome and find all the amenities required for an enjoyable stay. Our rooms are en-suite and we also have a guest lounge with log burner to relax in at the end of a busy day. There is free wi-fi avaialable throughout the property.
We are happy to arrange an evening meal during the winter months or packed lunch for guests - please contact us directly prior to your stay if you wish to take advantage of this service.
If Catherine is not busy looking after the house or garden she may be out for a game of golf or walking in the forest or on the local hills. Catherine is a Tourism Ambassador for Denbighshire and a Walking Guide Leader. As hosts we are always willing to assist visitors with exploring the local area.
We are located in the peaceful village of Clocaenog which is close to the historic market town of Ruthin and are well situated for exploring Denbighshire and further affield.
For the active visitor you can explore the forest on foot or by bicycle from the house.
