We love the countryside and family life. Hoping that we can now share that with our guests staying at beautiful barn conversions. We have lived in this area all of our lives and have installed a 250kw wind turbine that provides electricity for our entire complex.

Hastings Retreat is situated close to the historic market town of Ashby de la Zouch at the heart of the National Forest. Recently renovated luxury barn conversions individually designed to create a welcoming stay. Situated next door to Hicks Lodge Cycle Centre and nestled into a countryside location with beautiful walks and views. 3 acre private fishing lake for sole use of Hastings Retreat holiday homes. All holiday homes have open outdoor space with a firepit and cooking grill.

There are plenty of outdoor activities straight from the doorstep, walks, cycling and fishing. Conkers Discovery Centre is 5 minutes drive as is the historic market town of Ashby de la Zouch. Here you will find plenty of good quality bars and restaurants. The nearest village pub to walk to is 1.2 miles away which also offers food. We are 5 minutes from Junction 12 of the M42 with convenient access to Birmingham, Leicester, Derby, Tamworth and the NEC. Twycross Zoo is just 20 minutes away.
