The Historic Port of Charlestown is the closest for the beach, food and drinks! It’s very popular and full of Cornish charm with various places to eat depending on budget. All of which are very good and most have outside options as well. Sam’s on the Beach at Polkerris is really lovely for lunch or evening (you will need to book for inside dining!). Fowey and Mevagissey are both popular and worth a visit , there is a water taxi between the two so you can do both in a day. Fowey you can hire self drive boats up the river or if you are more active you can hire paddle boards. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are lovely and close to a great beach and cafe at Caerhays, often has live music at the end of the day. There are a few pop up food stalls at Carlyon Bay and water sports. I’m sure you will find loads to explore. Certainly happy to advise if you spot something I’ve not mentioned or need a review on anywhere!
