Danny and Dan took over The Promenade in August 2018. Danny has been known to drive buses from time to time! Dan works in London during the week in the insurance industry, but cooks and cleans during the weekends! We chose The Promenade because it was an established and thriving local business, and one day, we hope Dan can give up his job in London and live and work in Brid full time. We live out back with our girls Tammy, Doreen, Saffron, Whoopie and Edie. One hyperactive chocolate Lab and four cats! None of them are allowed in the Guest House, but if you have breakfast in the conservatory, you are likely to see the cats at the window meowing for leftovers! If you are an animal lover, and can cope with an excitable Labrador, you are more than welcome to go and say hello. We chose to run a guest house because we are house proud and love meeting new people. Nothing gives us more pleasure than knowing that each and every one of you has enjoyed your stay with us. The Promenade Guest House is superbly located on the North Promenade at Bridlington, just 75 yards from the beach and a few minutes walk from the town centre. The guest house has been 9 room and all are ensuites. Room 10 (ground floor) Rooms 1-4 (first floor) Room 4 being the deluxe double Sea View. rooms 6-9 (second floor) Room 9 being the deluxe King with Sea View & roll top bath. please be aware before booking ensure you have selected the room you would prefer. A warm welcome & good food awaits those who book The Promenade. Start the day with a hearty home cooked breakfast and at the end of the day if you have Netflix why not settle down and unwind for the evening on our Smart TV. Breakfast is available at 8pounds per person per day. this price includes Full Cooked Breakfast, Cereals, Yoghurts, Juice & Tea or Coffee. Full Cooked consists of, 2x Bacon 2x Gluten Free Sausages or Vegan 1x Fried or Scrambled Egg. 1x Baked Beans, 1x Mushrooms, 1x Grilled Tomato, 1x Hash Brown, 2x White or Wholemeal Toast.

The Promenade is situated in the North Bay area of Bridlington. Close enough to the main attractions and Town Centre shops, bars, restaurants and amusements, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be quieter of an evening. Perfect for those who want to enjoy the local amenities but also chill out and relax. None of the main attractions are very far away, even the Bridlington Spa is only a ten minute walk, and the newly redeveloped Leisure Centre is virtually on the door step. The beach front is but a short hop from the front door. From there you can enjoy the full beauty of the North Bay, between the harbour to the South, and the cliffs of Flamborough to the North. The shallow bay is perfect for a paddle, or a swim, if the weather is good enough. And if it is, that’s where you’ll find Danny, Dan and Tammy, the only Lab in the world who doesn’t really like water, on a weekend afternoon, once we’ve completed our chores! Take a walk to the North, or even better the Land Train, to Sewerby and enjoy Sewerby House and gardens. Or simply amble along the Promenade to the South and enjoy ice cream, fish and chips, the fairground rides and the amusement arcades.
