The Weigh Office is a perfect base to relax, unwind and explore The Eden Valley, The Lakes and further afield, the North Pennines or Yorkshire Dales. The building was once a working part of the Eden Valley Railway and has been fully modernised to provide a unique, compact self-catering holiday accommodation for up to two guests. Heated by an environmentally friendly geothermal ground source heat pump, it offers a lounge, modern kitchen, bathroom, double bed on a mezzanine (accessed via a ladder), private parking and a spacious outside decking area.
We work to live and spend a lot of our spare time walking, running, cycling and even swimming in the surrounding countryside. We love where we live and sometimes have to remind ourselves how lucky we are to live here. So it gives us great pleasure when our guests explore the surrounding area and enthuse about their time here. We live nearby and usually introduce ourselves on or soon after your arrival. However, after that we don't interfere, but we are nearby if you need us.
Rural location in the beautiful Eden Valley, within easy striking distance of The Lakes, North Pennines and Yorkshire Dales. Surrounded by woods and fields, with no street lighting, so perfect for stargazing. The Weigh Office has a rural location, so we recommend that guests have their own transport.
