The Retreat, is a lovely self contained holiday let, it’s on our property but completely separate, so all completely private for our guests.
It has its own fully equipped kitchen, lounge, bathroom, and bedroom, with double or single beds, which ever suits your needs best.
Upstairs is a loft conversion, so has limited headspace, if you are tall.
Pets- only 1 small pet allowed
Salcott, is a beautiful, peaceful village in Essex. We look over fields, so you will have a wonderful view from The Retreat.
We have a public footpath, right outside the Retreat, which takes you to Salcott lane, from there you can get to the sea wall, which joins to Goldhanger and Tollesbury, two other beautiful villages about.
Other nearby attractions, Abberton reservoir, Colchester zoo, layer marney towers, mersea, and the famous tiptree jam factories, and tearooms are only 10 minutes down the road.
