The Cottage is a converted stable, the original building is 150 years old. It's been sympathetically converted to provide well equipped comfortable accommodation. There's a private courtyard garden by a brook. Centrally heated, a combi boiler provides hot water. All on one level. There's a double/twin bedded room, ensuite shower room, bathroom cabinet can be linked with bluetooth to play music or listen to a podcast whilst you shower! Small dogs are welcome let me know if you're bringing one.

A lovely village, that has a great Church (All Saints, Newland also known as the Cathedral of the Forest). A fab village pub The Ostrich also welcomes dogs. Easy access to the Wye Valley and all it's attractions plus lots of walks on the doorstep.
The public transport in the Forest of Dean is not brilliant! So I would recommend visiting with a car, however cycling is also an option and there are many cycle trails throughout the area.
