2015 1st place: "National Award, category winner for guest satisfaction" The Rose and Crown Inn is ideally located, in the city of York. A short walk from the Minster, Shambles, Yorvik Centre, Barbican and City Centre, river and the city wall, famous walk. We have recently had extensive refurbishments completed and upgraded our letting rooms and restaurant to a high standard, whilst maintaining the character of the building and architectural features. We deliver exceptional food and we pride ourselves on our service, The menu is based on freshly prepared food, with exceptional quality and presentation. We have created our own range of pies which have proved a winner with our customers and have been entered into an award category for 2014. Also keep an eye on our specials boards for our international, fish and steak options. We have several local and national cask ales, as well as over 70 whiskies stocked, with most Scottish distilleries represented. We also have a wide selection of lagers, beers, craft beers both bottled and draft from around the world.
