We took over the business in January 2021, and are dedicated to make the guest experience match our beautiful surroundings. We love living in our stunning Lochgoilhead location within the diverse Cowal peninsula.

Informazioni sulla struttura

The Shore House lochside guesthouse is a small family run independent business. We aim to give our guests a relaxing and comfortable stay and enjoy welcoming old friends and new to the Shore House in lovely Lochgoilhead. It was originally built as the parish manse so it is a bit 'quirky' and a mix of old (the main building) and the new (loch side lounge and dining room) but the view is stunning - no matter what the weather!

Argyll is arguably the most diverse and beautiful county in Scotland. The coastline is amazing and inland the high moorland and mountains are breathtaking. There is an abundance of wildlife all around us - red squirrels, deer, pine marten, seals, Eagles, otters! The great thing about Lochgoilhead is it's only 80 minutes from Glasgow city but it feels a million miles away - so peaceful and tranquil.
