Built in the 1800s a charming cottage, well equipped, bright and airy, warm and inviting. It sits in a small private mews in the heart of Wells, adding to its character and charm. A pretty little courtyard is perfect for alfresco dining or an aperitif before hitting one on the many restaurants or live music venues. Surrounded by the Mendip Hills, a short walk to Wells Cathedral, Vicar’s Close, Bishops Palace and Gardens and the twice weekly market. The Snug is in the perfect location.
We are Derek, Ushma and Bailey. Our award winning pub in London keeps us busy, Derek with the cellar and keeping us in the Good Beer Guide year after year; Ushma with a focus on customer service and an eye for detail giving the pub a warm and inviting feel and Bailey our Jack-a-Doodle as the meeter and greeter. We love all things old, repurposed and a little bit ‘bonkers’, without compromising on style and detail.
