The space
The Stable Barn dates back to the 17th century and is a property with charm and comfort, complete with original character beams. The entrance leads to an open plan living, dining and kitchen space with central heating, wifi, TV and DVD player, DAB radio, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer and oven. There is a shower room and toilet. Upstairs is the bedroom with double bed complete with an ensuite toilet. There are plenty of drawers and a fitted wardrobe. There is a separate door opening out to your own patio garden area (benefiting from the sun all afternoon) with an outdoor table, chairs and parasol.

Downton is a village on the River Avon, 6 miles southeast of the City of Salisbury and is situated just outside of the New Forest National Park. It is a thriving community having its own schools, shops, pubs and businesses, village hall and recreation areas including a football pitch, bowling green and leisure centre with a gym and tennis courts.
The annual Downton Cuckoo Fair takes place in May and has been running for over a quarter of a century. It is a free event which attracts around 20,000 visitors with over 250 craft stalls, live music, dance and entertainment for the whole family. The village is also well known for its fishing, its award winning local brewery and as a centre for exploring the River Avon and New Forest.
