The property is a converted Stable within the grounds of our house. It is accessed via electric gates with secure parking right outside the door. It is situated alongside a bridle path which leads to the canal approx 2 minutes away. Surrounded by fields it is quiet yet convenient to Stourbridge. The Stable consists of a living space with a fully fitted kitchen and a log burner. It has electric heating radiators in the living room, the bedroom and the shower room. The double bed in the bedroom sleeps 2. It has a shower room with a wash basin and a toilet.
We have been hosting The Stable since 2015 and have welcomed guests from all around the world, many returning to visit family and friends. We live next door and are usually around. Our guests privacy is very important to us but we are happy to advise on places to visit or restaurants to try, of which there are many.
We are literally right on the edge of The Black Country and so it is a quiet place to stay with only the birds and the horses next door. The Black Country Museum, which I have to say is the jewel in the crown for this area is but 20 minutes away by car. There is a bus stop to Stourbridge and Kinver in our Road which is convenient for those who do not drive. The train station in Stourbridge is around 15 minutes away. Wollaston, our local village has several pubs and restaurants and an excellent fish and chip shop.
