This charming country pub is set between the Wayho and Turton and Entwistle Reservoirs, 6 miles from Bolton. It offers traditional Lancashire cuisine, attractive en suite rooms and scenic countryside views. Elegant rooms at The Strawbury Duck Inn feature tea and coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi. A full English breakfast is available and The Strawbury Duck serves traditional classics with fresh, locally sourced produce. The pork is even bred in the inn’s own farm in nearby Belmont. Sunday roasts are served, as well as an excellent selection of local cask ales. The area is ideal for walking, hiking and cycling. Guests can relax in cosy bar with its wooden beams and open fires or in the beer garden with views across the reservoirs, hills and forests. The property has free parking and is 5 minutes’ walk from Entwistle Train Station. Junction 4 of the M65 Motorway is 15 minutes’ drive away.
