“The very friendly host, Sandy, welcomed us as we drove in to the parking area. The Thistle is like and American motel, with the parking area in front of the rooms. Beds were very comfortable, tea and coffee in the room, excellent heating.”

“The man who gave us the room, nothing was too much trouble for him. The room was comfortable and close to the Main Street for food etc. very helpful, room was clean and tidy and we weren’t there very long so it served the purpose.”
