From the outside Westbrook Guesthouse looks like any other guesthouse built in 1863. Inside you will find that it’s another story altogether. Extensively refurbished by the previous owners you will find a light and pleasant interior enhanced with modern touches and some beautiful original artwork. The Owners live on site and are warm and friendly souls who will do their very best to make you feel at home. When you wake from your 'dead to the world' sleep follow the host's many recommendations for breakfasts in and around town but all within walking distance. Your days will be filled with the delights of Torbay and whether you are in the mood for just laying down on the beach all day or putting on your hiking boots and stomping across Dartmoor you will find there is something for everyone. If you prefer something more adventurous the Marina is where the highspeed rubber duck departs from as well as the more sedate ferries to Brixham, Paignton or Dartmouth. If sports are what you are after Torquay has it all. Watersports, bowls, golf, tennis and anything else you can imagine. If swimming in the sea is not for you the Riviera Conference Centre and Swimming Pool are minutes aways on foot from The Westbrook. If none of those things entices you then an eight-minute drive by car or an easy bus trip gets you to the quaint thatched village of Cockington. There you will find arts and crafts, delicious Devonshire cream teas or scrumptious lunches. After your day out come 'home' and spruce yourselves up for the evening and walk down to the Marina with its fabulous yachts and piers providing an ideal setting for the many restaurants that Torquay has to offer. Many of our guests arrive by car but just park it for the time they are here and use the excellent public transport. We’re looking forward to hosting you and making your stay the most memorable and enjoyable you’ve ever had!

We are just a short stroll away from pubs serving good food with entertainment. There are local shops, newsagents and on Belgrave Road just around the corner are salons & cakes shops. On Lucius Street just at the back of the property etc good public transport is close at hand. We are in a great position to get around Torquay.
