The White House is a well-appointed, detached cottage situated in the South Lakeland village of Cartmel. It boasts four bedrooms; a super king-size with en-suite bathroom, a double and two twins, sleeping eight altogether. There is also a bathroom, cloakroom, kitchen/breakfast room, a dining room, sitting room with open fire and an additional snug/library room. To the outside is an extensive lawned area with croquet lawn, vegetable patch and fruit orchard within a walled garden, as well as a patio area with furniture and ample off-road parking. The White House provides a fantastic base for families and large groups to make the most of all the Lake District has to offer.

Neighbourhood information

Resting in the charming South Lakeland area just beneath the Lake District is the village of Cartmel, known for being one of the prettiest villages in the Lakes. It is home to the beautiful Priory Church at the heart of the settlement, with cobbled streets, running streams, and quaint properties lining the quiet roads. Enjoy stopping in at the cafés, pubs and shops all providing a wealth of amenities for your self-catered stay, as well as being within easy reach of a host of wonderful destinations, including Lakeside, Bowness-on-Windermere, and Coniston Water.
