Thistle House Guest House asub maalilises metsaga aias ning pakub vaadet Loch Fyne'ile Inveraray'le ja selle kuulsale lossile. Selles avaras Victoria-aegses maamajas on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta parkimine. Majutusasutuse Thistle House tubadest avaneb vaade Loch Fyne'i järvele või aiale. Tubades on lameekraaniga televiisor, privaatne vannituba ja tervituskandik. Toad on individuaalselt nimetatud Šotimaa lääneranniku kohalike klannide järgi. Söögisaalis serveeritakse Šoti hommikusööki, kust avaneb vaade järvele ja Inveraray'le. Saadaval on ka kergemad toidud, mis on valmistatud kohalikest toorainetest. Külalised saavad lõõgastuda ka kaminaga puhkeruumis, kus on valik raamatuid ja teavet piirkonna kohta. Inveraray linn on vaid 25-minutilise autosõidu kaugusel ning seal on 18. sajandist pärit loss ja merepärandi muuseum. Blairmore'is, mis on veidi alla 40-minutilise autosõidu kaugusel, saab sõita jalgrattaga, sõita vibulaskmisega ja tulistada saviga.

Majutuse asukoht meeldib eriti paaridele – nad on andnud sellele hindeks 9,6.

Thistle House is a traditional period property with individually designed rooms and modern ensuite bathrooms. It is located on the East shore of Loch Fyne with uninterrupted views across the Loch to Inveraray Castle. The property sits in 2 acres of wrap around wooded gardens attracting many beautiful birds, red squirrels, and pine Martens, and in the summer you can sit amongst the shrubs and flowers contemplating the peace and tranquillity away from the stresses and strains of everyday life. In the evenings the sunsets are spectacular with the light reflecting off the water. As there is very little light pollution the sky at night can also be amazing.
Having moved home to Scotland after many years in England we are very pleased to welcome you to our little slice of heaven overlooking Loch Fyne. We hope, like us, you will enjoy the spectacular scenery, the wildlife, the every changing weather (it does rain sometimes), and the wonderful food. The list is endless. We came for the weekend, found Thistle House was for sale and never made it home.
The neighbourhood is very quiet and unspoilt and perfectly positioned to visit many interesting places in Argyll and the surrounding areas. There are many wonderful walks (take your pick of hills, pine forests, and waterfalls)and interesting beaches all within easy reach. There are of course castles too if you are interested in history including Inverary Castle (1m directly across the loch and 20 miles by road). There are many great places to eat showcasing the best local produce from land and sea to suit all tastes or if you are a "foodie" maybe even enjoy the challenge of a different one every night, from simple sandwiches to fine dining and variations in between.
