Located on a family-run smallholding set on 15 acres; guests can enjoy 2 acres of gardens featuring a lawn, stream, wooded area, small orchard, and picnic benches. You can join daily animal feeds, collect eggs, cuddle guinea pigs, and feed sheep. Local ducks may visit for some grain. The site is a haven for wildlife. The paddock, woodland, stream, and gardens attract hares, pheasants, woodpeckers, and swallows. At night, watch bats dart over the gardens and enjoy stargazing in our dark skies. The beautiful beaches of Croyde, Putsborough, Woolacombe, Westward Ho!, and Saunton Sands are a short drive away. The Threshing Barn is a two-story property with a private entrance, one of six cottages on our site. It can accommodate up to 4 people, including infants. Upon entering, you'll find an open-plan dining and living area with a table for 4 and a high chair available upon request. The living room features a TV and two sofas, perfect for relaxing. The large bay window makes the space bright and airy, ideal for reading or enjoying a glass of wine. The kitchen includes a fridge/freezer, microwave, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. It is well-equipped with crockery, cutlery, glasses, and pans. Upstairs, there is a double bedroom and an adjoining twin room that can be set up with two single beds or one single bed and a cot. The family bathroom has an electric shower over the bath. This cottage is popular with families but also suits couples wanting a larger living and dining area. Guests of the Threshing Barn also have shared access to several on-site facilities: Outdoor covered swimming pool: Available from May half-term to the end of September. Games room: Open to all guests. Gardens: Approximately 2 acres with picnic benches and garden chairs for relaxation and dining. Car parking: One parking space in our shared parking area.

The Farm is part of a small hamlet located about 5 miles from the centre of Barnstaple. We are surrounded by farmland and the rolling North Devon countryside. North Devon boasts incredible beaches, a beautiful coastline, stunning countryside, and diverse wildlife for you to enjoy. For those who prefer attractions, historical sites, or shopping, there are plenty of options. Adventure and action seekers will also find numerous opportunities.
