My family bought Little Byfield in 1976 and three generations of our family have enjoyed holidays here. We love welcoming guests to our holiday home and hope you enjoy making memories at Little Byfield as much as we do. We have been hosting guests for over 10 years, but are new to this site.

Thurlestone is a beach-side village with some of the best beaches in the U.K., a gastro pub, small village shop and a 4* hotel with restaurants and a spa open to non-guests. The Thurlestone Golf & Tennis Club offers an 18-hole golf course and tennis courts - all bookable for guests. We are a 20-minute walk from Bantham Beach - a large sandy beach with surf school, a gastro bus serving pizzas, ice creams and hot/cold drinks, (paid) parking, free public toilets, life guards. Nearby Kingsbridge is a small town (just 12-minutes drive) with supermarkets, a petrol station, cinema, independent shops and restaurants including a Michelin starred restaurant. Most major supermarkets and Amazon prime deliver to Thurlestone. We are just a 5 minute walk from the South-West Coast Path with miles of beautiful walks in both directions. We like to walk to Salcombe visiting hidden coves along the way. You can see Thurlestone Rock from the apartment’s balcony, sitting room and balcony. We like to paddle or swim through it. You can also see Hope Cove which is a lovely walk with pubs, restaurants and a harbour to visit. Further afield Totnes, Plymouth, Dartmouth, Salcombe and Paignton all make fantastic day trips, or you can stay home and relax taking in the lovely views! There is so much to see and do in and around Thurlestone.
