Malpas Village Malpas has an excellent pub, the Heron Inn, and there is also a farm shop and tearoom by the marina (all 1 minute away). Nearby Boscawen Park has a large adventure playground, café for takeaway food and drinks and pay-and-play tennis courts. There are wonderful countryside walks straight from the house and regular boat tours which you can take from the marina to the bustling town of Falmouth, the National Trust Trelissick Gardens or the beautiful port of St. Mawes. Alternatively, The King Harry Ferry is only 15 mins away, taking you (and your car) over the water and into the Roseland Peninsula and Heritage Coast. Additionally, there is a regular bus service into Truro, three times a day. Child and dog-friendly Young children are very welcome at Tideway, and there is a travel cot, highchair and stair gate available if needed, as well as some books and toys. Malpas is a small quiet village, and all guests are asked to respect the local residents accordingly. Strictly no parties or events are allowed, and we ask that unnecessary noise is kept to a minimum after 10pm. Any guests not adhering to this will be asked to leave the property.
