Tigh na Sgiath Country House was built in 1902 by the MacKenzie Shipping Family, then sold to Sir Thomas Lipton famous for his teas, then to the Hartley Family - famous for Hartley Jams. Tigh na Sgiath has retained many original features throughout the property.
