    A perfect location for a family visit just minutes from the main street in Marple Bridge. Everything within walking distance and a short bus ride to Marple. The accomadation was well provided with lots of everything.

In the heart of Marple Bridge, a busy, lively, urban village, Town Street Apartment is accessed through a characterful arched walkway from the road side. A two storey property, beautifully decorated with a modern feel and attention to detail, is in a very convenient position. The kitchen has all the equipment you need, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, washing machine/dryer, breakfast bar, with evening dining in the living area. Sleeps 4/6 people, in two good size bedrooms, one a with a king size bed, the second twin beds, and a double sofa bed in the living room. The bathroom has a toilet, sink, and a shower with a mineral shower head to filter water impurities. The apartment also boosts a washing machine/dryer. Please note: for very young children you may feel due to stairs it is not suitable as we don't provide child safety gates or equipment. A hidden gem of a picturesque village, which revolves around a couple of foodie pubs, a buzzing restaurant, coffee shops/deli, general store, chemist, florist/gift shop, beautician and hair salons and walking distance to the train station to Manchester City Centre, it sure has something for everyone. Across the road from the apartment is the River Goyt where you may be priviledged to spot the resident heron or kingfisher! The glorious hills of the Peak District are a short drive away, with places to visit include Chatsworth House, Castleton, Buxton Spa Town, Bakewell, to name a few, however there are plenty of walks right from the doorstep of the apartment! Visit the Roman Lakes with it's archelogical site, the riverside walk through Brabyns Park and Peak Forest historic canal walkways. Due to the nature of the village, there is no private parking, however the road in front allows 1 hour parking during the daytime (subject to availability), with a couple of free (and paid) car parks a very short walking distance.

Marple Bridge is a busy lively village revolving around a couple of foodie pubs, a buzzing restaurant, coffee shops and a general store. From your door there are beautiful walks to the Roman Lakes boosting an archaeological site, and also to Brabyns Park along the river path and canals. A short drive away is the glorious hills of the Peak District. Visiting Manchester City Centre is just a 5 minute walk to the train station with a 25 minute journey straight into the busy city centre.
