For those with families, miles of sweeping sandy beaches can be found all along the coast. If you're into cycling or horse riding, there are numerous scenic places to ride. This is a walker paradise with the Mawddach Trail opposite, (as featured in Julia Bradbury's Great Railway Walks) Coed Y Brenin & Cader Idris just a short drive away! If you're not the active type, there is lots to do in Barmouth with its independent shops, pubs, and eateries or how about a ride along the coast on the scenic Cambrian Coast Railway? Come and explore this amazing area. Mid Wales is truly stunning and a 'well-kept secret' by discerning globetrotters. Come prepared for all conditions, it does rain sometimes!
