Treacle Cottage is an old farmhouse built in around 1760 offering cosy and comfortable accommodation for your perfect Lake District holiday. It has been tastefully renovated retaining its thick stone walls, exposed beams and original features, whilst providing everything that will make your stay a pleasure.
Situated on the original 'Old Lake Road’, half way between Ambleside village and the lake, Treacle Cottage is just a short stroll from all the amenities of the village and the Ferry Terminal at Waterhead. There are excellent walks nearby and, just through the garden gate is the footpath that leads to Jenkins Crag and onto Wansfell and Troutbeck.
