A gothic structure of 1855, with gables & an oriel; once housing two families - one originally an old retainer whose task was to open the gates for his lordship (at on time Viscount Long), the other (larger) part housed the gamekeeper. Stained glass windows show the royal arms & those of other great local families - the Bohuns & the Bouchiers. The interior today has changed somewhat, although fireplaces are original, most changes were made when the two houses were merged in 1930.
