Hi I’m Mark After travelling the world, I decided to settle down in Suffolk twenty years ago and started my own little business with a beautiful old derelict farm complex, which I converted into six lovely little cottages for people to escape from city life and enjoy the wonderfully rural experience that this area amazingly has, despite its close proximity to London. I love what I do and am ‘Hands On’ with welcoming guests to my own six cottages, as well as looking after my Cottage Agency 'The Grove Cottages' that soon developed as other owners came asking me to take on their cottages and give them the same level of personal customer care, attention, and promotion that we are known and appreciated for. I don’t want to be a huge company, I’m very happy to have a small agency where personal involvement is always the priority and where I can pick only places which I love and know inside out to join us. A beautiful Tudor Cottage packed with character and original features and set in the centre of Suffolk's famous Mediaeval village.

Long Melford is one of the most famous unspoilt Suffolk Villages, it has a lovely riverside walk and a Park just beside a small country brewery which serves customers with a selection of excellent beers and food. The village itself has many individual shops, in fact the only clone one is a useful Co-op. At one end of the village is a large village green with a magnificent Wool Church and with 2 impressive stately homes backing on to it: Kentwell Hall, renown for its excellent Tudor re-enactments and Melford Hall which is National Trust and where Beatrix Potter often stayed. You can walk straight out into the countryside from the high Street, the old disused railway line runs along beside the river one way with a good walk into Sudbury and in the other directions into Lavenham which is England's best preserved Mediaeval Village and where all the ancient houses in the Harry Potter films were filmed.
