Failte/ Welcome to Tulloch, a family-friendly home from home and ideal base to explore the beautiful Scottish highlands and Isle of Skye! Tulloch is in a quiet residential street in the heart of the Kyle of Lochalsh. From here you can easily access Skye via the Skye bridge, but also the stunning attractions of the mainland Highlands like the Eilean Donan Castle and the formidable heights of Applecross. For hikers, various points on the famous wilderness Cape Wrath trail are only half an hour's drive from the property. The cottage itself is decorated in a whimsical style with art and crockery made in the Isle of Skye. It is heated by an open fire in the living room which fires central heating in the rest of the building - although there are of course electric heaters if you don't fancy lighting a fire. The house is 5-10 minutes walk from Kyle train station. Kyle is the village where the Skye Bridge meets the Isle of Skye. It is an ideal place to explore Eilean Donan Castle in Dornie, the Glenelg Brochs, the Falls of Glomach, Mallaig, Plockton and Applecross, as well as other points of interest on the Isle of Skye such as Talisker whisky distillery, the Fairy Pools, the Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock, Dunvegan castle, Armadale castle, the Quiraing and the inner and outer Hebrides.
