Ty'r Afon - River Cottage - is a new, architect designed conversion, using the latest heating and insulation to provide a comfortable and relaxing environment for guest to enjoy during their stay.
Situated in the 11/4 acre garden of The Railway Cottage has its own large lawn and garden area which is bordered on one side by the Afon Tryweryn (River Tryweryn.
The conversion, with ideas from our son and his family (who live and work in Norway), has strong Scandinavian themes - especially wooden floors throughout and underfloor heating, a decked, covered sitting out area with BBQ and telescope for star gazing on clear nights.
Frongoch is a small Welsh village with strong Irish connections
