If it’s a quiet, chilled out getaway you are looking for, then this is the place for you!
We look forward to welcoming guests to our Welsh glamping hut in the hills, 'Ty bech twt' (a Welsh translation for 'small tidy house').
We hope we have catered for all your needs but please ask if you have any special requests, we will try our best to accommodate every need.
This glamping experience has all the essentials, gas BBQ, seating area and firepit and the added luxury of electricity, log burner, kitchenette and bathroom which includes a shower.
The hut is fenced off so pets can roam safely, and there are plenty of dog walks nearby.
The main bed is on the first floor (up the wooden stairs)
There is no mobile reception or wi-fi within the area so you can 'switch-off' throughout your stay.
We are a farming family living in the Snowdonia hills. We farm beef and sheep and have two young and busy daughters who certainly keep us occupied!
We like nothing better than spending family time in the great outdoors and we hope our guests will enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the surrounding area as much as we do.
We have plenty of great walks right on our doorstep, from gentle strolls to mountain climbs. Or if you would prefer an adventure on two wheels, then Coed y Brenin is the place to be for off road cycling experience or dare cycle the highest pass in Wales which is minutes away.
Or you may prefer to be pampered? There are spa facilities and restaurant around 9 miles away with picturesque lake scenery.
There is plenty to see and do in and around the area from steam train journeys, boating/kayaking on Wales’s largest natural lake, day on the beach, visit caves at King Arthur's Labrinth or the hustle and bustle of Machynlleth market every Wednesday.
There are also plenty of great places to eat locally of different cuisines.
And if you’re not too tired out after all the day activities, Snowdonia National Park was awarded Dark Sky Reserve status in December 2015 so we have just the place for stargazing.
