Ty Llew Lodge is in a quiet area of Abergavenny in a leafy residential area. We are 5 minutes walk from the he town centre. The air quality is excellent and you wake to birdsong. We are a very safe choice for lone lady travellers, who will enjoy a relaxing stay and can feel safe and secure exploring the town and area. Abergavenny boasts numerous outdoor activities. Walking, cycling and fishing are especially popular while golf, horse riding, shooting and even hang gliding is available throughout the season. If you give us prior notice, we can book the appropriate activities and licences on your behalf. The Monmouthshire canal is nearby for walking or boat hire and there are a wide variety of historical sites nearby from Big Pit Blaenavon to Raglan Castle. Abergavenny is renowned for its excellent restaurants with world famous chefs in the area. We are committed to protecting the environment we use organic produce whenever possible and adopt the highest environmental and sustainable standards/ Please Note WE ARE STRICTLY A NO SMOKING BED AND BREAKFAST .ANY GUEST THAT DOES NOT ADHERE TO THIS RULE WILL BE FINED. Abergavenny is known as the gateway to Wales. Situated at the base of three mountains is a perfect location for walking and exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park. Castles, Mountains, National Parks, Canals and Industrial Heritage are all on our doorstep. Numerous Outdoor Pursuits are available, alternatively why not relax with a leisurely stroll around the market town or enjoy the many acclaimed local restaurants? We are the perfect location for the Abergavenny Food Festival, the Hay & Brecon Festivals, furthermore Cardiff is only a 40 minute train ride, so why not stay with us for the Rugby International Weekends and escape the hustle and bustle of the big cities.
