The design process incorporates super efficient insulation, so for a tree house sat amongst the lush woodland, it is exceptionally well warmed. Heat is provided primarily from the Devon crafted log burning stove in the living room. All logs are provided free of charge and are sourced from the owners woods. The passion for Cornwall and regional crafts and skills shine through the entire building, with impressive non-conforming construction techniques, fittings and furnishings. Atlantic Blankets adorn a lovingly hand crafted oak bed. Crisp white linens contrast beautifully against the burnt larch cladding and the kitchen features a magnificent bespoke macrocarpa worktop. There are all the essentials for your stay; Nespresso coffee machine, free wifi from a 4G connection, projector screen with Netflix, airplay connected speakers in every room and welcome hamper together with a fluffy dressing gown.

The treehouse is nestled on the edge of Down's Wood, to which guests have access to roam. Its a completely private forest. A leisurely half hour stroll, then back for a soak in that tub. Looe is a mere 10 minute drive south, where some quality eateries are available. However there are also two splendid local pubs that come recommended; The Copley Arms and The Plough at Duloe.
