Located in Mumbles on the Gower Peninsular, we are a friendly small boutique Bed and Breakfast. Our goal is to offer a first-class experience by going the extra mile. The property has three bedrooms suitable for a range of guests, from families to couples, to active or business people. Each room is designed using modern aesthetics combined with traditional Victorian-style elements. Expect modern beautiful bathrooms, large cosy beds, electric car charging point and luxuries such as freshly ground coffee and complimentary Welsh Cakes in the bedrooms. Please be aware we are able to offer 2 parking spaces, one for our king room with sea view and one for our superior king room. Our king room does not have a private space but street parking is available. If you require a desk to work at in your room, please ask and we will be happy to supply one.

We, Lisa and Graeme, are thrilled to welcome you to the property. We moved to Mumbles in 2017 after falling in love with the Gower. As active people, we enjoy running, golf and the outdoors. We also enjoy eating out so can recommend plenty of great places to eat. We now couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. Over the last five years we've meticulously renovated View at 142 from a run-down Victorian house with its questionable wallpaper choices. Our brief was simple: to merge the traditional Victorian elements with clean-cut contemporary design. If you’re interested in our before and after book, just ask.

A stay at View at 142 is more than a room. Here in Gower, there are world-renown surfing beaches and mountain biking centres. The area has plenty of other activities like paddle boarding, golf, walking, and running. The Gower Peninsular really does have it all. Ideal for summer evenings on the beach with a BBQ, early morning swims in the sea, forest walks and landscape photography. For those less sunny days, there are plenty of indoor activities too: bouldering, the arcade on the pier and cinemas galore.
