Characterful and comfortable cottage ideally placed for access to the village, the Bronte Parsonage and walks on the moors. Very helpful and efficient host. Availability of parking a bonus - I imagine this could be an issue in Haworth at peak season.

Company information

Weavers of Haworth started as Weavers Guesthouse in 2017. Since then, our reputation has grown and we've been looking at ways to expand our business. In 2022 we acquired two holiday cottages on the same little cobbled street as the guesthouse; Weavers Cottage and Weavers Retreat. We are delighted to be able to welcome our cottage guests to the main guesthouse for breakfast (subject to booking). We take a lot of pride in our guesthouse and have spent 4 years painstakingly renovating it and our very proud of our excellent reputation. We hope you'll find that our cottages offer no less.

Property information

We're delighted to welcome you to Weavers Cottage, part of Weavers of Haworth. Built as a weaving cottage in the 1840’s, Weavers Cottage is quaint, cosy and characterful. There is one bedroom with the option to add an extra cot or child's bed. The downstairs is an open plan kitchen and lounge and there is a bathroom with walk-in shower on the first floor. The lounge has a log-burning stove. The cottage is on the same street as our guesthouse, Weavers Guesthouse, and although the cottage is fully equipped for self-catering, we would love you to book in for one of our famous breakfasts at the main guesthouse if you fancy joining us at any point during your stay. There is a small extra charge, but if you’re keen for a treat, you know where we are!

Neighbourhood information

Haworth is famed as the home of the Brontë sisters, but there are plenty of other reasons for you to visit our picturesque village surrounded by dramatic moorland. Haworth is also getting a name for itself as a haven for quirky, independent businesses. Cobbled Main Street is home to everything from shops and art galleries, to pubs, bars, tearooms and restaurants. Of course, there is also the Brontë Parsonage Museum and the Keighley Worth Valley Railway, which are must-see attractions whilst you're in Haworth. The Brontë Parsonage was home to the Brontë family from 1820 and is now a beautifully preserved museum. After learning a bit about their life at the Parsonage you can then take a walk on to the unspoilt moorland and experience the inspirational spots where the sisters wrote. Discover the Brontë Bridge, the ruins of Top Withens (said to be the inspiration for Wuthering Heights), and the Brontë Falls. Haworth can also be used as a base to go off and explore the Yorkshire Dales and places such as Hebden Bridge, Saltaire, Skipton, Ilkley and Harrogate, to name but a few.
