This 16th-century inn in Braintree town centre is 25 minutes from Stansted Airport. It offers free Wi-Fi, a free private car park and 2 characterful bars with log fires. All bedrooms have free Wi-Fi access, a TV, tea/coffee facilities and their own bathroom. White Hart Hotel is a 15-minute walk from Braintree Train Station. Colchester and Chelmsford are both about 30 minutes' drive away. The historical White Hart serves traditional food until 22:00 every night. There is outdoor seating, and a conservatory-style dining room. The pretty villages of Thaxted, Finchingfield, Coggeshall and Castle Hedingham are between 15 and 30 minutes' drive away.
