WINDERMERE LODGE – PROPERTY OVERVIEW Set within the peaceful Forest Park Lodges near High Bickington, Windermere Lodge is a beautifully equipped two-bedroom retreat in the heart of North Devon’s Taw Valley. Surrounded by 11 acres of woodland and neighbouring 94 acres of Woodland Trust land, it’s perfect for couples, families, and nature lovers. Just 1.5 miles from village amenities including a shop, pubs, and post office, the lodge is also close to the coast and two excellent golf courses. It’s an ideal base for countryside walks, beach days, and relaxing in nature. LIVING AREA The open-plan living space includes two sofas (one is a sofa bed), an armchair, a flatscreen TV with FreeSat, DVD player, games, books, and a soft play mat with toys. French doors lead to the outside seating area, and a stairgate is fitted for young guests. KITCHEN & DINING The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, double oven, hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, cafetiere, and sandwich maker. Dining table seats four. Also includes a high chair, children's crockery, and a picnic cool bag with ice packs. BEDROOMS Both bedrooms have wardrobes, drawers, hairdryers, and French doors to a shared balcony. Bedroom 1: Double bed with en-suite bathroom Bedroom 2: Two extra-long singles plus a folding bed (child) Two travel cots and a baby changing mat are available on request. BATHROOMS Bathroom 1: En-suite with bath, shower-over, basin, WC Bathroom 2: En-suite with bath, shower-over, basin, WC Bath towels and children’s bath toys provided.
