Worthy Cottage is a beautiful 'gatehouse' cottage, perfectly suited to couples looking for a romantic retreat in a wonderful secluded location. The cottage is located at the entrance to Worthy Manor, the grounds and gardens of which have been featured in Country Life magazine. Worthy Cottage is one half of a converted barn; downstairs is a bright and airy kitchen/dining/sitting room with a log-burner. Upstairs is the bathroom and good sized bedroom with king-sized bed and great views across the Manor gardens to the sea beyond. The private garden (not enclosed) next to the cottage offers the perfect place to enjoy this unspoiled corner of Exmoor. Dogs (max 2) are welcome for 25 GBP per dog. Worthy Cottages is an excellent choice if you are looking for a base for walking; the South West Coast Path runs right past offering dramatic cliff paths, farm tracks, fields and beautiful wooded combes with seasonal waterfalls and streams between Worthy Cottage and Lynmouth.
