Yew Tree Cottage is a modern bungalow with a wonderful and luxurious interior. In August 2016 we refurbished the whole of the inside to a high standard with an open fireplace in the sitting room. It is a perfect romantic retreat for a couple. It is set in the mature gardens of the Old Rectory where we live and it looks across the fields. It has complete privacy with it's own parking. It is also ideal for people working locally in Milton Keynes, Banbury and Northampton. It has a completely new kitchen with a bar area - I provide a continental breakfast for you to help yourself to. There is a double bedroom with fitted cupboards and an extra twin bedroom which is ideal for either 2 couples or children. There is an extra charge for the second room. The views from the windows are across the fields and there is complete privacy and peace. There is a walk in shower and a separate toilet.

I work for KSB Equine running their marketing campaigns and this involves my knowledge and love of horses. We supply horse supplements to the horse world and in particular the racing sector which is very exciting to work in . I love cooking, playing tennis and ping pong. I enjoy meeting lots of different people through renting out my main house and also Yew Tree Cottage. I was on the TV series, 3 in a bed with my B and B business in the Old Rectory which was great fun filming. The main house is available for renting as a whole house and is regularly booked for wedding parties, and people travelling from abroad and family gatherings. It is also available on a B and B basis.

Located in the little village of Maidford, we are an easy 15 minute drive to the nearest town of Towcester and also 10 minutes away from the Silverstone race track. Surrounding us are long dog walks in fields, woods, around ponds or down bridle ways and along the Jurassic Park. For keen golfers there is an excellent course 2 miles away in Farthingstone. Local Points of interest recommended by Sarah Houses to visit nearby include Canons Ashby House which is a Grade 1 Listed Elizabethan Manor House and only 2 miles from Maidford. Sulgrave Manor, the home of George Washington's ancestors is within 8 miles. The Star Inn at Sulgrave does good food too. For all Motor Racing enthusiasts, the Silverstone Circuit is an easy 8 mile drive through back country lanes - easy access even during the Grand Prix week. Bicester Village - The outlet shopping centre that people travel for miles to visit is 28 miles and an easy 40 minute drive.
