Truly amazing views of rolling hills of Cotswolds at front and back of property. The property is surrounded by the outstanding natural beauty of Cotswolds and is located in a quiet street in Winchcombe, the anglo saxon village, yet only 5 minutes walk to town centre. Sudley castle is only 10minutes on foot from the property and there are many country walks you can explore at the door step.
A keen traveller, love to meet people from all over the world and share the unique experiences that travel brings to life.
Winchcombe is a quintessential Anglo Saxon town nestled in beautiful rolling hills of Cotswolds. The Sudley castle, once King Henry VIII’s hunting lodge and where his 6th wife Catherine Parr buried, is in Winchcombe. There are 4 pubs/restaurants and Michellin guide restsrestaurant, antique, art shops, Winchcombe Museum (free entrance), cafes and above very friendly, kind villagers. For vintage car or steam train enthusiasts Prescot Hill Climb is about a mile distance by car, hosting various car race events and very well preserved from bygone era the Winchcombe steam train station is 10 min walk from property. As the capital of hiking/walking in the U.K. Winchcombe offers many walk routes at door step. Belas Knap, the Neolithic long barrow (6miles circular walk) and Hails Abbey are only short walking distance from town centre through meadow and gentle rolling hills.
