Set in a peaceful courtyard garden, Summer Grove Villa provides luxury apartments just a short stroll from the beach. Built in 2008, Summer Grove is home to the newest apartments in The Gambia. The spacious family-friendly facility features 20 rooms, 10 suites, a pool, banana and vegetable garden. Located in the downtown tourist area, Summer Grove is mere steps from popular restaurants, nightclubs and a casino. Air conditioning units and ceiling fans are standard in this home away from home. Relax on the sun terrace or lounge by the swimming pool and Jacuzzi. If you need an escape from the hot sun, take a cold beer under the bantaba. Those looking for adventure can take the free mountain bikes for an exciting beach ride. Customer service is supreme at Summer Grove, where guests are transported to and from the airport free of charge. Upon arrival guests will find welcome packs in their apartments. Each luxury apartment features a full kitchen and bathroom and authentic African Art. Facilities are available for short or long term stays. Apartments are open year round for winter and summer fun.

The neighborhood is very nice full of entertainment, but Summer Grove is quiet and boring. We have a new kings bakery just 3 minutes walk away from summer grove and cash & carry supermarket and some local shops next to us.
