The house is ideally located in Sifnos island: it is above the central village of the island, Apollonia, at walking distance of less than 15 minutes. Furthermore it does not have the heat and noise of the central village and has much better views of not only the Profitis Ilias and mountain, but also of Apolonia village and even the sea from above. More specifically, Katavati square is about 5 minutes from the house and has (a) a bus stop with connections to the main beaches and the port, (b) the large supermarket of the island “Arades”, (c) public free parking and (d) a path going downwards at the main village of the island, Appolonia (in about 15 minutes in the main square of Appolonia), where many cafes restaurants, bars, shops, etc can be found. A smaller market “Maris Sardis” is located even closer to the house, about half-distance. Please note that the house has WIFI. Recentry three air-conditions were added in the house for the very hot summer days and to extend the use of the house in the colder months.

Mania Stamatopoulos, assisted by her sons Konstantinos Stamatopoulos and Miltos Stamatopoulos are the host. All three are fluent in English and Greek and Mania in French also. Thet live in Athens. Konstantinos and Miltos are PhD Civil and Electrical Engineers. Konstantinos directs a firm and teaches at the University and Miltos work at the Athens Airport. More than 10 years expirience of renting the house (at another site).
