My name is Evelyn, and I run our lovely apartments with my family. My husband, George, grew up on Zakynthos Island just around the corner from us. We always love meeting new guests (and those who have returned in later years), and always sharing all the exciting things to see and experience on Zakynthos Island. Welcome to Anemone Blue. Tucked away in a leafy Akrotiri-Bohali ravine, 30m in front of the sea, 3km from the Zakynthos town, and 2.5km from the popular Tsilivi beach, we offer a peaceful and affordable getaway from the bustle of busy streets, but yet close to the lively town. Our two roomed apartments are spacious with large balconies waiting for you to enjoy. The secluded pebble/rocky beach is just 30m in front for you to constantly swim in the warm water and enjoy. There is limited (erratic) cellphone reception, but there is WIFI in the apartments. There is full cellphone reception a little higher up the road.

The neighborhood is peaceful with a wonderful local, semi-rural atmosphere, yet close to the lively tourist areas. Firstly, we highly recommend enjoying the small secluded pebble beach in front of us. There is nothing better than waking up and going for a morning swim when the sea is calm like glass with almost no other people in the sea. We recommend wearing sea shoes to walk over the rocks at the shore, but further out there is sand that you can stand on in the water. This beach is ideal for nature lovers and people who enjoy snorkeling (there is a lot of beautiful sea life around the rocks). At the top of our road (a 5 minute walk) you can enjoy drinks, light meals or breakfasts and dinners at the family run restaurant, Cafe Romanza. There is also a small mini market (6 minute walk) very close by, where you can buy your daily essentials (there are larger supermarkets at Tsilivi and in town, both 3 km away). We also highly recommend visiting the restaurants like The Balcony Restaurant (on the road to Tsilivi), which has magnificent sea views, and also the restaurants at the top of Bohali hill (with beautiful panoramic views over the town harbour). This hill is also the site of the ruins of the old Venetian Castle. Another lovely restaurant to try one evening is Taverna Akrotiri (also on the road to Tsilivi). If you decide to walk into town (a 3km 30 minute walk), we highly recommend stopping on the way to try the many beach bars that along the beach. What we hope is that after your stay, you will love our neighborhood as much as we do, and that you may return to our magical place on Zakynthos Island.
